The five factors and their weights

Every clinic is measured against the same five criteria. Each is scored out of 10, then combined using the weights below to produce a single overall score out of 10. Nothing else moves a clinic up or down.

Why reviews carry the most weight

Patient reviews are weighted highest because they are the hardest thing to fake at scale and the closest signal to the experience you will actually have. We look beyond the headline star rating to volume and recency — a 4.9 from 3,000 recent reviews is far stronger evidence than a 5.0 from forty. We also read for patterns: repeated mentions of rushed crown preparation or poor aftercare will pull a score down even if the average looks high.

Accreditation is a floor, not a bonus

A clinic must hold valid Ministry of Health registration simply to be listed. Beyond that, internationally recognised accreditation — particularly JCI and ISO 9001 — signals audited processes for sterilisation, record-keeping and patient safety.
